His name can be found in catalogues of labels such as Kompakt (and its offshot K2), Steve Bug's Audiomatique imprint, Harthouse, Plastic City and many others.

Hailing from Sao Paulo, Boratto currently works for Brazilian and multinational recording companies and is responsible for countless international licensings. Together with his brother Tchorta, he also runs his own independent record label called Mega Music.

In the dance world, Boratto is most known for his tracks ‘Arquipelago’ and ‘Like You’ released on Kompakt, but he actually has a pedigree producing for artists such as Garth Brooks, Steel Pulse, Desiree, Mano Chao, Gal Costa on major Brazilian labels. In 2005 he decided to devote himself to more personal dance music, and in February the first long-playing results of the experiment arrive on Kompakt.
